Islam
Islam is a religion that began in Medina and founded by Muhammad. Their symbol is a crescent moon and a star, pictured above. Islam is the second largest religion in the world. The Islam holy book is the Koran. The Islam practices are outlined by the Five Pillars of Islam. The Five Pillars of Islam are faith, prayer, fasting, pilgrimage, and alms. They also worship Allah and a few prophets are: Abrah, Ishmal, Jesus, and Muhammad. One of the most important beliefs in Islam is that there is only one God, Allah. In Islam, they hope to please Allah in order to reach "paradise" and it is believed that once a person hits puberty, their deeds are opened. Then they will be judged on the Day of Judgment and that will determine where they end up.
