Judaism
Judaism is a religion that was founded by Abraham and began in Jerusalem. The symbol for Judaism is the Star of David, pictured above. Their holy book is the Torah, which is the first of five. Jews follow the Ten Commandments, which were left to Moses by God. They only believe in God; their main beliefs are God is the ultimate over anything, and Life is Holy. Also, group worship and prayer is very important, as well as their responsibility to each other. There are 3 sects to Judaism; Orthodox, Conservative, and Reform. Jews believe that the purpose of life is to be obedient to God and they also obey the law and atone for sin.
